How is the assessment carried out?

Our jury will select 50 examples of best practice from all submissions. The information you provide in the application form will be analysed qualitatively, taking into account the competition criteria. In addition, cross-sectional criteria provide a basis for decision-making by comparing all applications, which enables a well-founded selection of projects. The selection of best practice examples depends solely on the judgement of the jury members. The result remains secret until the announcement on the day of the award ceremony. Legal recourse is excluded.

Yes, the award-winning best-practice examples will be included in the various communication measures of the ‘Germany - Land of Ideas’ initiative following the competition and thus receive public attention.
